Abstract:
|
Given current demographics of the racial and ethnic diversity among statisticians, one may assume that Black and Hispanic statisticians have contributed little to the field, or worse, have not existed until very recently. Such an assumption would be wrong. This talk provides a historical view of some Black and Hispanic statisticians and their contributions to statistics.
