Abstract:
|
A process produces items which are superior, acceptable, and unacceptable according to percentages which depend on whether the process is in or out of control. When an item is inspected, it may be judged to be superior, acceptable, or unacceptable. However, classification errors can occur. A procedure for deciding whether or not the process is in control based on runs is investigated.
