The Oregon ASA chapter partnered with the Oregon Council of Teachers of Mathematics to create and deliver a workshop that introduces statistics concepts that are part of the Common Core math content and are now assessed on the state exams. Workshops are delivered by a statistician and an experienced math teacher. Participant feedback highlights some surprising ways to optimize the effectiveness of this delivery format; we will share the materials and how to effectively deliver them to teachers in your state.
