Abstract:
|
Real-world evidence (RWE) and clinical databases typically generated by clinical trials offer a significant challenge in understanding risk benefit of a specific treatment due to variation in focus during planning and execution phases of these two types of activities. It is important that a consistent filter is used to understand the signals and make conclusions based on these data, especially to help patients and payers keep updated on the risk benefit of using a specific treatment for a single or multiple conditions. This session will focus on sharing the experience of attendees, including methods and tools that allow additional filters to these two types of data for understanding the signals (post-approval) and provide valuable information to patients and payer.
