We examine the problem of setting reserve prices at the audience-level for display advertising. We review why existing methods that are base on value inference, and assume a stable marketplace are not well suited to this problem when the marketplace is new. We present our approach to set reserve prices, and illustrate how this affects churn, abandonment rate, demand, etc.
