Abstract #310599
Title: Challenges to Analyzing Survival Data Subject to Biased Sampling
Author(s): Yu Shen*+
Companies: MD Anderson Cancer Center
Keywords: biased sampling ; right censoring ; survival outcome ; regression models
Abstract:

Due to the biased sampling scheme, independent censoring assumption is often violated for right-censored survival data. Although the issues about biased inference caused by length-biased sampling have been widely recognized in statistical, epidemiological and economical literature, there is a need to develop efficient regression models for analyzing biased right-censored observations. In this talk, we will discuss some recent development in this area.
