Title: Large-Scale Multiple Testing of Correlations
Author(s): Tony Cai*+
Companies: University of Pennsylvania
Keywords: coexpression network analysis ; false discovery rate ; multiple testing ; sparse correlation matrix
Abstract:

Multiple testing of correlations arises in many applications including gene coexpression network analysis and brain intelligence analysis. In this talk, we introduce a large scale multiple testing procedure for correlations and investigate both its theoretical and numerical properties. The procedure is also illustrated by an analysis of a prostate cancer dataset for the detection of changes in coexpression patterns between gene expression levels.
