The forensic science community has been making concerted efforts to boost the rigor of its underlying science; statistical science and statisticians are a key part of this effort. In this session, practitioners in the forensic science community will provide their perspective of the role of statistical science and statisticians. They will also discuss the accomplishments in forensic science reform and the work to be done.
