Abstract:

Correlated failure time data arises when each study subject can potentially experience several types of failures or recurrences of a certain phenomenon, or when failure times are sampled in clusters. We study nonparametric regression for the analysis of correlated failure time data and present recently developed estimating equations approach. The properties of the proposed estimators will be presented and illustrations with real medical data will be provided.
