Title: Effects of Randomization Methods on Hypotheses Tests in Some Clinical Trials
Author(s): Shaocheng Liu*+ and June Li

Keywords: dynamic randomization ; type I errors ; power ; simulation
Abstract:

The randomization methods chosen for clinical trials need consider the trial designs, the suitability and feasibility for the trial. The randomization methods for a clinical trial might have impact on the hypotheses testing as well. The simulation studies are conducted to investigate various situations including the ordinary randomization, dynamic randomization and potential effects on type I errors and power consideration. The simulation of dynamic randomization studies with the time to event data analyses will be conducted for Cox proportional hazards regression model and Log-rank tests. The effects of the randomization methods will be compared. dynamic randomization, type I errors, power, simulation
