Title: Matrix Recovery by Bilinear Random Measurements
Author(s): Anru Zhang*+ and Tony Cai

Keywords: Matrix Recovery ; Random Projection ; Image Compression
Abstract:

Recovery of high-dimensional matrix from a small fraction of observations attracts much attention recently. However for the most previous methods, it has a disadvantage that the storage cost on designs is as much as O(n^2q). In this talk, we will discuss a new method for matrix recovery by bilinear random measurements, in which the storage cost is reduced to O(nq). Besides, applications to image compression will also be shown.
