Abstract:
|
Drawing on their experience of writing seven books with six publishers and of being book series editors for several years, Sophia Rabe-Hesketh and Anders Skrondal will discuss many aspects of completing a book project. These include deciding whether to write a book, how to define the topic and scope, getting a contract, actually doing the writing, and promoting the book. They also will discuss specific issues they encountered such as collaborating across continents and getting hold of real data sets.
