Abstract:
|
Test and Evaluation (T&E) professionals within the defense acquisition community must assess the performance, suitability, reliability, and operational effectiveness of highly complex military systems. Scientific Test and Analysis Techniques (STAT) offer a rigorous and objective basis for designing and analyzing tests of military systems throughout the acquisition lifecycle, during both developmental testing and operational testing. This presentation highlights the role of the STAT in T&E Center of Excellence (COE) in infusing statistical thinking into military acquisition programs.
