Abstract:
|
Recently, the Department of Biomedical and Health Informatics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City has held a series of working group meetings to discuss data sources for secondary data analysis. This was intended to help raise everyone's level of awareness of these sources as possible graduate student projects and to assist faculty in preparation of their own research grants. The meetings also would help in the development of a new academic course on secondary data analysis. This talk will highlight the strengths and limitations of the most important of these data sources and describe the content of a proposed class in secondary data analysis.
