Keywords: generalized p value ; heteroscedasticity ; assumption violation
Abstract:

In regression analysis, in case of comparing two regression lines under heteroscedasticity, generalized p values approach may be used. The generalized p-value is an extended version of the classical p-value which provides only approximate solutions. Generalized p value provides accurate solutions when not only explaining relevant parameter but also the nuisance parameter. In this study, the generalized p value - which may be used alternatively when different assumptions aren't fulfilled - is researched theoretically; the suitable simulation program is written and an application study is given.
