Abstract:
|
In functional data analysis, simultaneous inference is important and has many applications. We propose a wild bootstrap approach to estimate the simultaneous confidence band for the mean function of a set of random functions with any dimensionality (such as one dimensional curves or 2- or 3- dimensional images). We will report some theoretical justifications of this method and present some simulation results. In addition, a real image data application will be presented.
