Abstract:
|
How does one maintain an academic consulting center that adds value to its university? In particular, how does one secure funding, continuously train students and faculty to be effective statistical collaborators, and grow and adapt to serve the needs of a university in a changing environment? We don't have all the answers, but we will share our successes and challenges at the University of Georgia and Virginia Tech, as well as facilitate vibrant discussion about what has already worked---or might work in the future---for you and your university.
