Title: Global Minimax Bounds for Estimating Log-Concave Densities
Author(s): Arlene K.H. Kim*+ and Richard Samworth
Companies: University of Cambridge and University of Cambridge
Keywords: Minimax bounds ; Log-concavity ; Assouad's lemma ; Global loss
Abstract:

We obtain the optimal minimax rates of convergence for estimating multi-dimensional log-concave densities. We show that the minimax rate is the same as for estimating densities with two bounded derivatives.
