Abstract:

A how-to guide for using the R package lbiassurv, for parametric and nonparametric analysis of length-biased right-censored data. It includes simulation functions, nonparametric maximum likelihood estimator (NPMLE) of the bias-corrected survival curve using EM algorithm by Vardi with bootstrap confidence bands, parametric analysis using a variety of standard survival models (Weibull, log-normal, log-logistic and more), one-sample goodness-of-fit test, some graphical methods and tests for stationarity of incidence for left-truncated data.
