Title: Empirical Likelihood and U-Statistics in Survival Analysis
Author(s): Zhigang Zhang*+ and Yichuan Zhao
Companies: Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Georgia State University
Keywords: empirical likelihood ; U-statistics ; interval-censored survival data ; regression analysis ; law of large numbers for correlated random variables
Abstract:

When the empirical likelihood approach is applied to U-statistics, some technical and computational problems emerge. In this study we will focus on some theoretical development for tackling such problems. Applications of such methods including regression analysis of interval-censored survival data will be discussed.
