Many segments of the statistical community have initiated efforts to mentor statisticians in practice, at one time or another. This roundtable luncheon, sponsored by the ASA Committee on Applied Statisticians and the ASA Statistical Consulting Section, is for statisticians with past or current experience in a mentoring initiative to share experiences. Also welcome are statisticians or representatives of groups of statisticians who are considering organizing a project to mentor statisticians. We will also share experiences with the current CAS Membership Initiative project on "Developing and Piloting a Partnership ASA Mentorship Program".
