Data Scientist is one of the hot new jobs on the market today. This poster will help the reader to understand how the emerging role of the data scientist differs from a statistician or statistical analyst/programmer. It will discuss what characteristics make a good data scientist, what skills are needed, what type of education would best provide the needed skills and what typical responsibilities a person can expect as a data scientist.
