Abstract:

There is an international movement towards Accreditation of Professional Statisticians with programs associated with the Royal Statistical Society, Statistical Society of Australia Inc., Statistical Society of Canada, American Statistical Association, and a new program in Japan. Regular international teleconferences are examining methods of cooperation and enrichment with sharing resources to strengthen programs. Learn more about why you should consider such a Professional designation: 1.) Results of the 2012 ASA Accreditation Survey (M.B.); 2.) Accreditation is a Symbol of Trust for a Consulting Company (J.McD.); 3.) Value added by Accreditation Programming (J.C.).
