Title: The Extended G-Formula
Author(s): James Robins*+
Companies: HSPH
Keywords: causal ; random regimes
Abstract:

In 2004 I introduced the extended g-formula. Here I describe its relationship to the standard g-formula and the advantages it offers for the estimation of causal effects of random regimes and for the graphical representation of counterfactual independence relations. Examples of its use in practice will be included. This is joint work with Thomas Richardson and Andrea Rotnitzky.
