Title: Bayesian Approaches to the Analysis of Computer Model Output
Author(s): Mark Berliner*+
Companies: Ohio State University
Keywords: Climate change ; Ocean modeling ; Hierarchical Bayes
Abstract:

I discuss a hierarchical Bayesian framework for developing models in complex settings. The framework is developed in the context of using output from very large computer models. Two illustrations are presented: use of climate system models in the context of climate change analysis and incorporating various analyses in ocean forecasting.
