Title: Measurement Error and Complex Dietary Patterns Research
Author(s): Raymond J. Carroll*+
Companies: Texas A&M University
Keywords: Bayesian methods ; Deconvolution ; Direct moment assisted imputation ; Direct moment reconstruction ; Measurement error ; Zero inflated data
Abstract:

Dietary pattern research focuses on multivariate dietary patterns, rather than univariate analysis of one food or nutrient at a time. These data are characterized by components that are continuous, along with multivariate zero-inflated foods, and items such as alcohol that some individuals never consumer. I will review recent research related to this fascinating area, both for nutritional surveillance and nutritional epidemiology
