Abstract:
|
This session provides both an explanation of some of the vital tools used in online/hybrid statistics courses as well as a demonstration of their use. It is intended that attendees will not only leave with ideas for developing or improving online/hybrid statistics courses, but also the knowledge to start implementing these ideas. Topics will include screen capture and video, discussion boards and communication, class surveys for collecting real data to analyze, and active learning and assessment.
