Abstract:
|
In this talk I will review some multiscale methods for nonparametric statistics, focussing on tests and confidence regions. The confidence regions often involve shape constraints about the underlying function parameter such as monotonicity or (log-)convexity. In particular I am planning to present new material on local multiscale testing and bi-log-concavity.
