Abstract:

Not a single method can work for all types of data in different areas. Clustering techniques have been widely applied in epidemiology studies. The complexity of various types of clustering methods causes difficulty for researchers in selecting and applying them. We are focusing on Malaria immunology studies and will compare our developed method with 9 commonly used and emerging clustering methods using real data sets and simulation studies. The comparison results will be useful for basic scientists, clinicians, applied researchers in the immunology field and methodologists.
