Abstract:
|
An application of BART (Bayesian additive regression trees) developed by Chipman, George and McCulloch (2010) with neurodevelopmental and cognitive data. With over 700 anatomical measurements from MRI, it is not possible to explore the space of parametric models and interactions between the neural development of brain structures and cognitive functions. We apply BART both as a non-parametric regression model, and then as a model free variable selection method for parametric models.
