Abstract:

We propose a Bayesian approach for studying the dynamic relationship between multiple brain signals. We consider state-space models with sparsity priors on the parameters that describe brain connectivity. This allows us to infer the coupling or lag-lead relationships between any pairs of brain regions represented in the data. We apply the proposed approach to an fMRI data set.
