Abstract:
|
K sample Cramer-von Mises tests are developed for grouped data, Asymptotic percentage points may be calculated and are shown to give good approximations to points for finite samples. Power studies show that the statistics compare favorably against group-correction procedures. A theorem is proved analogues to Kiefer's theorem for continuous data. The statistics are compared with methods developed for ordered contingency tables, when the cells have a natural ordering. Some real data sets are analyzed.
