Abstract:
|
Consider a clinical trial contain 3 equally important primary endpoints, the treatment is claimed effective compared to placebo if 2 or more endpoints are significant. The problem is how to adjust the multiplicity efficiently in order to strong control the overall type I error. We propose a simple solution to the problem along with a proof. A generalization to n (n>3) co-primary endpoints will also be discussed.
