Hand Dupuytren contracture is a fibrosing disorder that results in progressive thickening and shortening of the palmar fascia leading to debilitating contracture. Psoriasis is a chronic, multisystem, inflammatory disorder causing skin redness and irritation. The investigators question: Does hand Psoriasis lead to the development of Dupuytren contracture? Both diseases are rare(3% and 4%, respectively). Additionally to determine whether the occurrence of contractures are clustered within a particular subtype of Psoriasis (Palmer- planter).D is event of Dupuytren contracture and S the event of Psoriasis, the hypothesis is:H0: P(D/S)=P(D/No S),H1:P(D/S)>P(D/No S) Methods: Prospective cohort study with two independent groups of patients. Group one:Psoriasis Patients, will be re-evaluated for hand contractures. Group two: Dupuytren contractures, re-examined for Psoriasis Analysis. Use of the Bayesian theorem. Aim to see probability of developing Dupuytren contracture given the patient has psoriasis. Given the rarity of the disease we first calculate prob of diseases then boostrap simulation to estimate standard error of difference in the probabilities.
