Abstract:

Subject drop out is very common in the practice of pharmaceutical industry while carrying out the crossover design, however, there are very few papers considering the issue of drop out. Low, Lewis, and Prescott (1999) studied the performance of latin squares under expected version of A and MV criterion. However, there was no optimality results presented. This talk would present methods of finding optimal and efficient designs and methods of measuring the lower bound of the efficiency of the designs under all different kinds of criteria. Also, I would give some idea of how the choice of designs would be influenced by the mechanism of subject drop out.
