Abstract:
|
R is one of the best statistics programs currently available. Excel is the most prevalent software used for data storage and interpretation. RExcel seamlessly integrates the entire set of R's statistical and graphical methods into Excel, allowing statisticians and naive users to embed R's state of the art statistical methods into Excel, where most data (in science and in business) are kept. The RExcel interface provides a spreadsheet front end to the superior graphics and statistical analyses available in R. By placing any R function inside the spreadsheet paradigm of automatic recalculation, we have placed the full power of R, one of the best programs for statistical analysis and graphical display of data, into a familiar user environment.
