Abstract:
|
Given the ubiquity of cell phones and their constant use, cell phone calling patterns can be used to study the location and movements of large numbers of people for cellular network operation, urban planning and event management. This talk will cover several projects analyzing call detail records (CDRs) to understand our customers better and to aid in urban planning and sustainability efforts.
