Abstract:
|
How do you build quality into your work? Do you plan your QA/QC checks in advance? Do you document your QA/QC checks and activities? Quality assurance is particularly important for isolated statisticians, as they do not have ready access to peers who can independently check and review their work. Your chair will briefly describe how he plans and documents his work and how he facilitates oversight by QA and support staff. He will tell of some recent successes and failures. Come prepared to share your ideas and suggestions. Tell others about your quality systems and routines; what works and what doesn't. Learn from others' best practices.
