Abstract:
|
A function that has been suggested for the relationship between usual serum intact parathyroid hormone and usual serum vitamin D, where usual represents the long run average of the daily measurements of these quantities, is the segmented regression function. Simulation is used to compare alternative estimation procedures for the parameters of the segmented regression function. The estimation procedures are applied to sample data.
