Abstract:

Consider the class of designs that can identify the c models where the expectations of observation vector have p parameters in common and the remaining k parameters are not all the same. The observations are uncorrelated with constant variance. To compare the designs within this class, a new optimality property is introduced. The characterizations of designs with the property are given. A table of fractional factorial designs with the optimality property is also given to identify a class of models for two level factors.
