Abstract:

Undirected Graphs provide a framework to represent relationships between variables. It has seen many applications, like genetic networks etc. In this paper, we develop an efficient method to select the edges of an undirected Graph . Based on group LARS, our method combines the computational efficiency of LARS and and it has the ability to force the selection procedure to ensure symmetry of the edges. Properties of this `Edge selection' method is explored both analytically as well as through simulation study. We further apply out method on the isoprenoid pathways in Arabidopsis thaliana data set.
