Address: 915 E. Washington, Ann Arbor, MI, 48109, United States
Keywords: designed experiments ; DOE ; home experiments
Abstract:

Performing experiments at home can yield immediately useful results. In addition, such experiments can educate us to the pitfalls of design and data collection so that we become better consultants. They are also guaranteed to increase our compassion for our "in the field" collaborators. Examples of experiments include testing which laundry detergent, dog food, or child-rearing technique works better. This round-table is meant for those who have tried home experiments, with the goal of sharing experiences and brainstorming on a forum where such results might be presented to a wider community.
