Abstract:
|
Have you wondered if multivariate process monitoring might be useful in a non-manufacturing setting? Do you have success stories to share? We will discuss emerging applications of this approach in sectors such as banking, healthcare and insurance. These applications raise questions such as how to handle categorical variables and seasonality, which are not encountered in manufacturing applications. We will discuss these issues along with benefits of multivariate process monitoring in newer settings.
