Abstract:
|
Chevron is a global corporation. During a long career as both an internal and external consultant, I have worked as a local consultant and as a remote consultant, in remote teams and in virtual teams, with collaborators and with competitors, and in many other ways. During this time, technology has advanced and businesses have changed character. Traveling used to be fun and encouraged. As the world changes around us, many of the successful aspects of consulting relationships stay the same. How do we preserve them across geography and culture? Some suggestions will be presented.
