Abstract:
|
Novel methodological questions are now being generated in Bioinformatics and require the integration of different concepts, methods, tools and data types. In this talk I will explore Bayesian modeling approaches that combine data of different types with available biological knowledge. The proposed models apply to situations where a large number of non independent variables are observed on a few subjects. We look at classifying subjects, identifying important features and reconstructing network structures among the variables.
