Abstract:
|
Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) data present many statistical challenges, among them large data size, noise, and temporal and spatial correlation. The purpose of this talk is to give an overview of fMRI data issues. I will briefly describe how the data are collected and preprocessed, with an emphasis on the challenges mentioned above. The rest of the talk will provide a survey and evaluation of statistical methods commonly used for the analysis of fMRI data.
