We are, perhaps, the most misunderstood of the scientific disciplines. The name "statistics" means something very different to statisticians than to others, even other scientists. Opportunity to effectively share the beauty, utility, and power of the statistics profession with the broad community is a dream long held by the ASA and the RSS. We'll discuss how this magazine partnership provides a vehicle for realizing this dream.
