Abstract

You define yourself as an applied statistician. Maybe you've considered letting your ASA membership lapse, maybe you have lots of great ideas for the ASA with regard to applied statisticians. What support are you seeking from the ASA? If you have lapsed on occasion, why have you lapsed? What brought you to this JSM? These questions are important to both your career as well as the longevity of the ASA. The Committee on Applied Statisticians asks for your additional feedback. This discussion, moderated by an applied statistician, will focus on how ASA can support the Applied Statistician, as defined by the attendees.
