Abstract:

Quality control (QC) is an important step in microarray gene expression study when determining the reliability for performed experiment. Additionally, we would obtain superb analytic results when the results are derived from the microarray for an effective QC outcome. In particular, QC is a crucial issue given that the RNA that is extracted from a FFPE tissue sample, made up of immense archives of pathologically well-characterized clinical samples from randomized trials, might result in degradation. Through the Whole-Genome DASL assay, which has an advantage in microarray gene expression study using RNA from FFPE tissues, we will demonstrate the QC process which resulted in the reliable outcome of WG-DASL assay. In order to do so, we used GenomeStudio and R program, which provides the raw data and QC results, respectively, to cause the WG-DASL assay to the gastric cancer patient.
