Abstract:

In this study, we propose a strategy to construct a model in order to better predict risk of incidence of new fractures, based upon known baseline characteristics of pooled data between two large observational trials from Canada and Japan. We compare the prediction outcomes between the two regions and propose a predictive model which accounts for trial differences and can result in an improved prediction. We applied Bayesian Models to utilize prior information to better predict the frature risks between the regions.
